Eric's House Rules

The Thorendon Saga is being run with a number of House Rules. We are using the 3rd edition rules of the game as a base in most cases; the only 4th edition rules that are being used without substantial modifications are the Ability List and Aging rules. Rules for Combat and Studying have undergone a number of changes, and I am working on my own Spell Guidelines. A number of rule changes have been spurred by my personal biases regarding Mythic Europe.

• Eric's Study Rules v.1.1 -- A complete system for adding Comprehension Levels to texts. Adds plenty of colour but stays close to the 3rd edition, minimal book-keeping rules.
• Eric's Combat System v.1.1 -- Keeps the good parts of the 3rd edition rules while adding the importance of combat range and weapon length.

• Spell Creation Guidelines -- comprehensive, but less rigid than the 4th edition
• Flavoured Vis -- the Nature of Vis and Vis with Affinities
• Ablative Parma Magica -- an alternative to the all or nothing 4th ed. rules
